What happens to your message.

Contact form

I process your name, email address and message so I can reply and discuss working together. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Providing this information is voluntary, but I cannot handle your enquiry without your contact details and message.

I do not use this information for newsletters or automated decision-making.

Where your data is stored and for how long

The form sends your message through Blueboard.cz hosting to my Gmail (Google) inbox. These providers help with the technical processing. I also send an automatic acknowledgement to the email address you enter in the form.

I also store enquiries in a private database on Blueboard.cz hosting so I can keep track of them. Only I can access it, through a secured administration interface.

The database has private operational backups. I keep no more than 14 backups and remove copies older than 14 days when creating a new backup.

If we do not work together, I delete messages within 6 months of our last communication. If we do work together, I keep the necessary information for the duration of the contract and afterwards to the extent required by law.

Google may also process data outside the European Economic Area. Information about its safeguards is available in Google’s data transfer frameworks (new tab).

Technical data and cookies

The website uses only an essential session cookie to secure the form and retain your entries if an error occurs. It does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

If you switch languages while writing a message, the website temporarily saves your draft name, email address and message in sessionStorage in the same browser tab. It restores the draft once after the switch and removes the saved copy; the copy is valid for no more than 10 minutes. Security tokens are not stored this way.

To protect against spam, the website temporarily retains a hash of your IP address and the number of submission attempts. These records expire within an hour and are removed as further requests are processed. Technical hosting logs are governed by the provider’s terms.

Protecting the form from bots

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. It loads when you approach the form or start filling it in. During verification, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical information about your browser and connection to distinguish normal visits from automated spam. I do not send your name, email address or message to Cloudflare as part of the verification request.

I use this protection to secure the form and limit abuse. Details about data processing, including its use to improve bot detection, are available in Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy information (new tab). If verification does not work or you prefer not to use the form, you can email me directly.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability. If you have concerns about how your data is processed, you can contact the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (new tab).
